Travelling to Windsor for the Royal Wedding?

On 19th May 2018 Prince Harry is set to marry Meghan Markle in the most talked about wedding of the year! If you’re one of the lucky 2,640 people invited to attend the ceremony in the grounds of Windsor Castle, or simply want to catch a glimpse of Meghan’s no doubt stunning dress in the flesh, use our maps below to plan your journey.

The couple will be getting married at 12pm at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle and then at 1pm will leave in a traditional carriage procession to travel to the reception at St George’s Hall giving the public lots of opportunity to see them on their special day.

The map below details the journey times by public transport to Windsor Castle between 10-2pm so you can work out what time you need to set off to see Harry arrive at 11am, or Meghan arrive just before 12, or the couple set off to their reception at 1pm. The map shows journey times up to 2 hours outside of Windsor Castle and take into account planned road closures on the day. This map was created using our TRACC software and detail journey times by public transport using trains, buses and the tube.
