Basemap announces new release of TRACC software:
TRACC Drivetime for OS Highways
Guildford, Surrey – Basemap, a leading digital mapping and transport data solutions provider are delighted to announce the release of the latest version of their TRACC software offering exciting new functionality and improvements. TRACC Drivetime for OS MasterMap Highways Network ™ has been created using valuable customer feedback and has been updated to the latest Ordnance Survey Schema enabling the direct import of OS MasterMap Highways Network. This development enables TRACC customers to quickly and easily access OS Highways data and start producing detailed analysis using this powerful dataset.
“Basemap are delighted to be one of the first software suppliers to integrate this exciting new OS Highways dataset into our market leading travel time analysis solution, TRACC. This further strengthens our relationship as partners and we look forward to working with Ordnance Survey on future opportunities” said Mark Gallagher, CEO of Basemap Ltd.
The new functionality includes the ability to multi-select destinations for contours, the top improvement identified by 47% of customers in a feedback survey. TRACC will be able to assign up to six speeds against each road network loaded into TRACC. This has been optimised to work with Basemap’s speed datasets, allowing multiple time periods to be calculated. Other new functionality includes the ability to view and edit turn restrictions from OS data, add a new walk interchange penalty, load data in GeoTIFF format and create custom WMS layers.
David Henderson, Managing Director for OS GB, said, “OS MasterMap Highways Network, with TRACC Drivetime software, will enable customers to deliver more accurate drive time analysis. This new functionality highlights the way our partners, such as Basemap, can bring extra value and content enrichment to new markets and users.”
