The 35th Annual Jorvik Viking Festival returns to the City of York on Wednesday the 20th February for 8 days and we have created a handy travel map to help you plan your visit. Recognised as the largest event of its kind in Europe, this Viking Festival offers a broad range of events held at locations across the city centre.
Have you ever wanted to taste mead? Want to see a competition for the best Viking beard? Or perhaps see Vikings battle it out to take the title of Strongest Viking? You could also try traditional Viking food at the huge Viking feast or watch the famous ‘Battle Spectacular’. There’s something for everyone at the Viking festival so book your tickets and use our travel maps below to plan your journey.
This map shows travel times to Barley Hall, which is one of the venues of the Festival, via public transport and uses the example of travelling on the first day of the Festival between 7-9am. The map was created using our travel time analysis software called TRACC.
